For better efficiency and optimized combustion, use dry wood (-20% moisture, or 18 months of drying);
If you need to dry your wood, the ideal solution is to store it in a 1m pile, covered only on top.
Good to know: depending on the length of the logs, the stère of wood will not correspond to the same volume. Thus, 1 stère = 1 m3 with logs of 1m Long. With logs of 50, 1m3 = 1.25 stère, and with logs of 33, 1m3 = 1.42 stère… Good to know when ordering wood!

OUR ADVICE

• Load your stove as it heats over long periods. An overload at the start of the heating process interferes with the stove’s performance and clogs the ducts. Similarly, heating for short periods of time reduces the efficiency.
• According to regulations, your stove must be swept twice a year, once during the winter.
